About me.....I am old and tired. Life has been very long. A long, strange trip. Both of my parents are deceased now and I can't begin to tell you what a damn lonely feeling that is. I grew up taking care of my alcoholic, mentally handicapped parents. Years of abuse and unforgetable bad memories. My childhood is unexplainable, but it made me who I am. A fucked in the head,crazyass adult. I am neither Republican or Democrat. I refuse to be tagged. I see things on both sides that makes sense. I am not Christian in the made up religion sense. I don't think God is around anymore. Afterall, who is God? We made up the word. We made up everything. It's not like the first humans found a book with all the worlds words, meanings and instructions when it all started. We grew and made all this up. Our absurd monetary system has caused such economic divide that it will never change. People are judged by what they have and what they do, not who they are or how they feel. What a stupid, fucked up world we live in when a person can make five million acting in a goddamn movie and another person can't get a piece of bread for singing a song. I am not happy with this absurd world. This is an add-on 09/18/2006. To Jerry Cote...you are my son and always will be even though I didn't birth you.I am sorry you couldn't hold on. I am sorry you were so hurt in life. Maybe the afterlife will bring you peace. Say hi to Chris. Now you have become comfortably numb.

My Interests

I am interested in people. I also like shooting pool, I'll kick your ass, just accept it and have fun. I am interested in saving the planet, but know I don't have the power. I love to travel and will drive anywhere, but I won't fly. I have this thing about being in control, so , unless they let me fly the plane (and that ain't happenin..) I'll just stay grounded. I love history and would love to drive to all the historical sites in our beautiful nation. I love the internet because it helps us all to communicate easier and shares info about anything and everything. I LOVE MY GREEN BAY PACKERS! I coach junior bowling and I love sports. I've always been competitive. I love video games and collecting toys, mainly old ones. Things like action figures, banks and odd pieces. Also, after being a bartender for 10 years, I enjoy collecting old bar signs and other memoribilia. I became enthralled with Star Trek in 1967 at the tender age of 5 and stayed hooked for years. I was a member of Starfleet Academy, a fanclub that did conventions in the late 70's and early 80's. I have had the joy of meeting most of the original crew. Music:

I like music that makes me move and would like the words to have some meaning, but I am very open to just about anything. My favorites are The Dresden Dolls, the Beatles, Pink Floyd,Bootsy Collins,Red Hot Chili Peppers,David Bowie, old Elton John, old school funk , Tubring, MSI and some of the new punk/rock/electronica stuff that's floating around. I was a young adult in the 80's so I have a soft spot for 80's new wave music. Adam Ant, Billy Idol, and all of those one hit wonders we danced around to. I also love and respect Laurie Anderson. She is one unique butterfly! Music is different to all of us. It's what touches us when needed. As we age we hang on to the timeless tunes and open our minds to the new sounds. Music is a tool and one that should never be lost.

Movies:

I am a fan of strange movies. My all time favorite is Blazing Saddles, I can't believe Mel Brooks got by with what he did. Rock on Mel! I also like Star Wars...mainly the last three, which were the first three...geeezzzzzz. I like A Clockwork Orange. Willy Wonka. (the jury is out on the new one), old flicks with Vincent Price (check out Comedy of Terrors), Arsenic and Old Lace and Cooley High. I like Star Trek 2 and 4 the best. I collect Robin Williams movies. Monty Python anything is a must in any collection. Airplane, the first one only. Yeah, I know I love the Shat, but 2 sucked butt. I also enjoyed the Naked Gun movies. Those three lads from WI. made some sillyass movies with good old "I'm bored what can we do" Wisconsin humor.

Television:

I enjoy mostly cartoons like The Simpsons, Futurama, Family guy and old Looney Tunes, but do enjoy Comedy Central and watching the news and some sports. I also like a lot of the old sitcoms from the 70's and 80's. I am a big fan of old school wrestling. I LOVE Rowdy Roddy Piper! I am a big Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart fan. I appreciate the intelligence and honesty of these two men. They have figured out how to tell us what is really going on. I also enjoy Boston Legal. William Shatner and James Spader are wonderful together!

Books:

YOU MUST READ ANYTHING BY JIM ROSE!!! Roman Dirge and Jhonen Vasquez make life worth living. I like poetry by Peter McWilliams, Leonard Nimoy and just about anyone from BlueMountain Press. I have read most of William Shatner and Peter McWilliams'books. Please check out the writings of John Stewart and Stephen Colbert also.

Heroes:

My heroes are those who see reality and speak the truth. People who are kind to others and try to help in this crazy life.
