About Me

Sometimes I paint. A great drum fill will give me chills. I'm Jack and Jackie's daughter. I'm left handed. Got that from Jack. Studies have shown that left handed people do not live as long on average as you right handed people out there. Not to mention they burned left handed people at the stake back in the day. Thought they were evil and possessed. They are. I am a creative person with a slight motivation problem. I'm also slow. A friend of mine once said, "I have two speeds: slow, and slower." I can relate. It's quite a handicap, really. People have been waiting for me to hurry up my entire life. No such luck. They are still waiting. I do walk fast, however. I'll leave you in the dust even while wearing 4 inch heels. I day dream often. I think this contributes to the slowness. I am a hypochondriac to a degree. If you ever think that you are ill, never, and I mean NEVER go searching the internet thinking that you will find answers and rule anything out, it will only scare the living crap out of you and make you think you have 40 different things you would have otherwise never thought about (or knew existed). So not only might you be ill, but you will also have anxiety and panic to accompany it. I have a tendency to worry about things I cannot do anything about or have any control over. I would like to not do this anymore. I love my dog. She's the cutest little Jack Russell terrier you ever did see. Does anyone else's dog like beer? I am shy to a degree. Because of this I've been told that people have thought that I'm a bitch. This is not true (well, depends on who you ask I guess). I have a procrastination problem (or is it a lack of motivation as I mention earlier?). I have all these ideas for projects to do and then I'll never follow through because I'll get sidetracked and do something unproductive, like watch TV or waste time on the internet. Imagine.

My Interests

when I'm not too busy procrastinating, I like to play guitar, write songs, record the songs(if I'm feeling particularly productive), paint, apply makeup, take photos, develop them in my darkroom that I haven't used in well over a year, and all that creative stuff. I love dogs, shoes, good coffee, good booze, driving a stick shift, cooking food that is healthy, and keeping the thermostat at no less than 74 degrees

I'd like to meet:

Eccentric people, people that make me laugh. People that make things and build things.

Chris Whitley, Jerry Reed, George Jones, The Jayhawks, Dwight Yoakam, Lyle Lovett, Sloan, Rodney Crowell, Django Reinheart, Peter Gabriel, INXS, Prince, Talking Heads, Air, Ahex Twin, Melvins, Morphine, Gillian Welch, Jet, Jellyfish, The Darkness (bringing the fun-and scissor kicks- back into rock and roll), is anyone actually reading this?

Movies:

**This Is Spinal Tap** , The Big Lebowski, Waiting For Guffman, Pee Wee's Big Adventure, The Blob(no, not really), Napolean Dynamite, Super Troopers, Benny and Joon, Beetlejuice, movies with Christopher Walken in them. Oh! And Xanadu. I LOVED that movie when I was a kid. And the soundtrack is BADASS, done like only Electric Light Orchestra could do it

Television:

I miss saturday mornings with Garfield and Friends. And the Sesame Street pinball number count:

the smell of a new macintosh

Yes. They have a smell. Of which I am enjoying right now. This new laptop smells exactly like my first Mac I bought 7 years ago(PowerMac G4, which I was still using, by the way, up until 3 days ago.....
