He auditioned for Johnnie High's Country Music Review in Arlington, Texas in November of '05. He performed on January 27th of 2006.
Michael has appeared on local and national television as well as internationally. His songs True Blue Cowboy and Motherload have earned him respect from those in the music industry and he has received accolades for his skills including winning the 2006 North American Country Music Association International "Male Vocalist of the Year" and the "USA Worldshowcase" tv viewer award with an astounding 2 million votes!
On Oct,28th 2006 Michael was nominated for 7 awards In Mississippi
For the Mississippi Best Awards. it was to bring recognition to those that have ties to the state of Mississippi and who stride to make it the best of the best. The Mississippi Best Awards show took place at the Telcom Center in downtown Jackson Mississippi where over 40 awards were handed out to folks from all walks of life and talents.
When it was all set and done, Michael took home seven awards, including:

Michael will be featured in a book that will be sold at all major book stores across America. The "100 Young Americans" book will be released late 2007
The book will be the first of its kind. It will capture what it means to be young in America today. Through images and short biographies, the book will present a diverse group of one hundred young people from all fifty states. It will paint a picture of youth culture in America.
