I'm the director of the Lipstick Lovelies. I enjoy dancing, performing, designing and constructing costumes, choreographing for the stage, photography (and yes, I take most of the pictures you will see on my profile), making music, video art, coming up with completely ridiculous ideas, and making people laugh (but I definitely have my dark moods, too).
I'm a one of kind, totally unique and girly designed PDA.
"...and we can make sandwiches..."
"Kittypanties.....it's a very good thing."
...and so is bowling. and drinking mai tais. and eating Mongolian barbecue. Shake it! :)
"Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened. Life truly is a series of memories. So let's make them as happy as humanly possible."
Believe in the impossible. The world is a magical place where dreams can and do come true.
princess dove longing for her primal prince.
Beautiful memories of my trip to Cali...a smiling vision at the baggage claim, my upper level treatment at Jack in the Box, meeting the "Jack" behind the mask, the view from the balcony at the St Regis, wandering the grounds and the hall of mirrors, listening to Manilow in the hotel room, my mystery drink at Chateau M, late night dancing on the dance floor, handfuls of barbaric meat, fireworks and disco tunes, that's Cevin Key!, Jesus is Magic, watching a latin lady stripper snapping the belt, the drive thru at Del Taco, helicopter rides, lounging with the cats, walking amongst LAB rats, the purchasing of meat sticks, and making new friends in Santa Ana. :)
my horoscope suggests I travel. so I shall. to the west coast. in a sundress and a beaming smile. then to the north. into the snow. to see my ash blonde bunny. and fall further down the rabbit hole.
when my thoughts are approximately two thousand miles from here.
"Let me be that special moment, and let us share so many more. And this uncertain life will be forever remembered with a full heart and a warm smile."
I wanted to make toast, love, but alas, I don't have any bread.
"I have dreamt some truly beautiful things. And the happiness these dreams have brought me is eternal. They have made me smile. They have inspired me. They continue to feed my soul. And for that, I will always embrace them, and never let them fade away. For I am a dreamer. Always."
"I am a fragile creature, with open heart and gentle mind, with no other desire than to love and comfort the ones I love. So push me not away or this heart shall close, and this mind shall darken and be filled with a deafening scream."
it was a curious and wonderful day...when want was coupled with need.
"You are an angel and should endure only the kindest of words and actions." (words of wisdom from every women's magazine ever published)
my sex kitten tribute to Catherine Deneuve circa "Belle du Jour"
how different our lives have evolved from the last six weeks. the last six months. one year ago. six years ago. but are we in a better place? in a better frame of mind? and are we headed in the right direction? even my temporary bouts of pessimism can't prevent the answer from escaping my lips. and the answer is unbelievably clear. YES.
"I am not a religious person, per se, but I often find myself looking for guidance in two places...in the shower and in my car. For I have yet to cleanse my soul and reach my final intended destination."
"Yes, I do bite. So if you favor your digits, keep all hands away from my cage."
Don't be scared, but your immortal soul does look rather tasty.
artists, musicians, dancers, singers, old friends, and new friends. (Horny folks looking to add me as a friend, please take note....I am not here for flirtations, cybersex or hook-ups of any kind. My heart is full and so is my schedule, so please don't inquire. And please don't use my page to pimp yourself. If you are a phony bologna moron I will delete your comments and I will remove you as a friend. Oh, and don't harass me if I don't add you as a friend in the first place. You were not added because I either didn't find your profile interesting or I'm just too busy to notice you. Besides, my profile is free to view so get over it.)

My quotes of the week....Quote #1: "No one's ever rude to my dad." Know what it's from? It's a toughie and one for the hardcore kung fu fanatics only. Quote #2: "Well, they can't all be winners now can they?" This one is a new holiday classic. Dark comedy at it's finest.

Happiness is sewing costumes till the wee hours of night. Happiness is a rehearsal that feels more like a party but you've accomplished so much. Happiness is taking the stage and feeling like someone special. Happiness is seeing all your hard work finally pay off. Happiness is sharing it all with the people you love.
Rosie Budds from rehearsal regarding my truly elaborate Can Can costumes: "Do we have to be period specific? I mean, we're not trying to re-enact the Civil War here." :D
"we don't want to be the best. we just want to be memorable."
To My Sweetpea: For when I cry she's always there, purring softly on my knee, her large eyes looking up with love and compassion. She is only a cat, but I know she understands, for she cries, too. And crawls under the covers seeking warmth and the comfort of a gentle hand to ease her racing pulse.

Laugh daily, laugh often, at yourself, and all the other nutballs out there!
"I act without pause, without thought and without consequence. For it is the blood pumping through this heart that drives this body. Which explains most of these bruises."
"no one can make you feel inferior without your consent. so stop consenting."
"Being happy doesn't mean everything's perfect. It means you've decided to see beyond the imperfections. So cherish those who are near and dear to your heart, for who they are and will always be."
The last book I bought was Dita Von Teese's "Burlesque and the Art of the Teese". And I still haven't read it all the way through...I get distracted by the pictures. I pick up Vogue, Elle, GQ, Maxim, Stuff, and Vanity Fair every other month and always when I travel.
"Is this all a dream? Are my eyes still tightly closed? The images are all so clear, so colorful, and yet it feels so long ago. But please don't wake me. Let the dream shift as it may. In a stream of consciousness. Like a river carving into the unknown. Pushing me forward. Not aside, and not away. But what will I see when finally washed ashore?"
Riddled by numbers...A33, D6/6/6, S3, W3, M6, F6939 - tell me again that there are no signs and we exist beyond fate's hands.
