Redemption Films (part of the Salvation Group) was founded in 1992 with the aim of distributing and promoting European and cutting edge sex, sleaze and horror films.
Redemption specialises primarily in European horror, sleaze and exploition movies from the 1960s through to the present. Initial releases included titles by Jean Rollin, Jess Franco and Dario Argento but the label has now widened its remit to include releases like 'I am the Ripper' and 'Aquarium' from young up and coming directors.

With so much activity happening across the Salvation Group in 2006 we have decided to publish a free 'newspaper', NIHILISTA (Subhead - offend to defend), every six weeks. Mixing major articles on our films and music with highly provocative imagery and posters of our Satanic Sluts and newly formed She-Wolves as well as features on the wider alternative horror, fetish, sex, music, fashion, cultural and political scene NIHILISTA will be anything but dull. Redemption was the first company to commercially release works by directors like JESS FRANCO (Succubus, Female Vampire), JEAN ROLLIN (Requiem for a Vampire, Shiver of the Vampire), DARIO ARGENTO (Deep Red), MARIO BAVA (Black Sunday, Five Dolls for an August Moon) along with exploitation epics like Killer Nun, Salon kitty, Black Cat, Sadomania and Bare Behind Bars.
JEZEBEL FILMS - Sins of the Flesh
Jezebel specialises in sexploitation films primarily from the sixties and seventies and is currently available through our US distributors Image Entertainment who have recently increased the labels profile by putting out a number of Jezebel boxsets with titles like 'Sex A Go Go' and 'English Girls'. Other titles include 'AU PAIR GIRLS', 'ZETA ONE' and 'CAN YOU KEEP IT UP FOR A WEEK?'
SACRAMENT - Baptised in Blood, Consumed by Guilt, Gratified in Death
Sacrament is potentially and currently our darkness and most controversial label specialising as it does in contemporary Japanese 'pink' cinema and eroticism. The films, with the exception of 'Tokyo X Erotica' and never been released in the West before and the label is slowly building up a solid and loyal following both in the UK and shortly in the US where the label is due to launch soon - See History for more details.
PURGATORY - For the Excess of your Recesses
Purgatory specialises in cutting edge contemporary erotica and pornography. It was key in the process of legalising hardcore material in the UK and was the first label to bring and release such important erotica as Latex, Sex and A Clockwork Orgy commercially in the UK.
OBEY UK - On Your Feet Or On Your Knees
Obey UK is intended to be a sister label to Purgatory though specialising primarily in new British made productions and more fetish oriented material. The label is currently building up its product base and is expected to launch later in 2006 - See History for more details.
TRIPLE SILENCE - The sounds of the Beast
Triple Silence began life in 2003 with the release of albums from Eileen Daly's project Jezebel and New York based band The Nuns followed by the UK premiere of the album 'Shadow's Madame' from Italian horror metallers Cadaveria. New releases are planned for 2006 including albums from the magnificent Fornication, the wonderfully dark Psychonaut 75 and the gothic royalty that is London Gothic (formally known as Synthetic). A major new album by Bent USA follows in 2007.

Perhaps our most exciting labels in that they are living experiments evolving organically moving and developing ideas created and driven by their members. We have a lot planned for all of these projects and will be making some announcements here soon.
BLACK MASS
The Black Mass club is now 70% owned by the film financiers Carnaby Films who plan to relauch it in a more commercial form at the Electric Ballroom later in 2006. We will be writing to all original Black Mass members regarding this and our new events (Hydra etc) which will be keeping the black candle burning...
