Imperial Vengeance is a British extreme metal act formed in 2007, being a collaborative between C. Edward-Alexander and David Bryan in an attempt to explore and expand already established ideas and forms, using conceptual material firmly rooted in the glory days of the British Empire, and presenting a wide range of subjects influenced by its’ colourful social and military histories, theatre, literature and mythologies.
March 2008 saw the release of the duo’s latest endeavour: a 2-disc package "Death: August & Royal", which comprises of one regular audio CD and a second multi-media DVDROM containing videos, interviews, photo galleries and other exclusive bonus material; and features the drumming talents of new recruit to the ranks: William Drury. This release is now running a second pressing and will be available again soon.
The band is currently setting its sights in getting Imperial Vengeance into the live arena, and has additionally recruited Elle Torry to join the onstage entourage. Live dates will be announced in the very near future.

The band have just finished recording a cover version of the Venom classic "The 7 Gates of Hell" for the forthcoming Hang the Pope Records’ "Venom Tribute" - a preview is now on the MySpace Player.
In addition to completing the primary composition stage for the Autumn’s full length release entitled "At The Going Down Of The Sun" the duo were recently heard on ICR Channel23 alongside Sam from Korvus discussing the growing British Black Metal scene. A podcast version of this entertaining evening will be made available in the very near future.
Post production was recently completed on the bands’ first full length promotional video: "6th Airborne Division" which is featured on the "Death: August & Royal" double-DVDROM, which has now gone to a second pressing and will be imminantly available through paypal off this page.
