I am here for Friends

About Me

- Get Your Own
Me? I love art. I love love. I am sunshine. I am happy. I look for the good and the positive and often find the beauty where others cannot. I love water and would be content to live on the beach and swing in a hammock to the rhythm of the sea. I am a loyal friend to those who are worthy. I love to laugh even when it is at myself. I am a dreamer and fear that someday I may float away on the wings of imagination never to return. I am sure that most people live lives centered around work and responsibilities that never cease. I am sure that lives should center around love and friends, good food, great sex, and adventures big and small. Sunshine and moonbeams love and magical things should comprise my day, and should not go unnoticed or unappreciated.
I love to swim and feel at home in the water. It is the one place I feel light and graceful. It is the closest thing to flying away I can think of. I would rather be swimming.
I enjoy writing and hope to finish the novel I have been nurturing in my brain for the past three years. Just need to fine tune it and get it all typed out. I am not quite ready to let it out yet, but soon I will.
Sometimes I watch sappy movies that I have seen a hundred times just to cry and feel that yearning for perfect movie love. That love that lives in fairy tales and Hollywood. The love that cultivates hope and keeps us all going forward.
I work as a city postal carrier. I have a great route full of the nicest of people. Oh, and their dogs! I live to walk my seven miles and pet the dogs who wait for me every day. I am blessed to have that opportunity.
Speaking of dogs... I have two 130 pound Great Pyrenees. Bumble and Nimbus are two of the best friends I have ever known. I also have ten cats and a talking bird. It is a full house for sure. *UPDATE* I adopted a Great Pyrenees puppy from the city shelter in Rogers the day they were going to put him to sleep. He is doing great and is happy to be alive. His name is Roswell and he is loved. :)
I will not be just a tourist in the world of images, just watching images passing by which I cannot live in, make love to, possess as permanent sources of joy and ecstasy. Anais Nin
True love is like ghosts, which everyone talks about and few have seen.
