Who would think this girl next door who greets with a shy smile could rock the house and turn it upside down once she belts out that high note? Listeners roar more! People seem to not get enough of her soul searching, love making, heart breaking songs. How does she handle these accolades? She's been approached backstage, even at the parking lot, by teary eyed fans thanking her for her songs and asking for autograph.
Michelle Andria, proudly represented the outstanding vocal talent within the Los Angeles/San Fernando Valley and performed for 14-time Grammy Award Winner David Foster (Whitney Houston, Celine Dion) and major network NBC in the extremely competitive "Star Tomorrow†.
EXPERIENCE
Michelle's very first experience in a recording studio was with Wayne Vaughn (Earth, Wind, & Fire, Maurice White, Stevie Wonder, Emotions) . She belted out Better Days by Dianne Reeves and recalls seeing Wayne's tears after hearing her sing and he said, "Big things come in small packages". Wayne has been a family friend since.
Michelle Andria has performed solo infront of thousands at venues like the Shrine Auditorium, LA Convention Center, Henry Fonda Theatre, Pantages Theatre, Florentine's Garden, Redondo Performing Arts, Brenden Theatre (Palms Hotel, Vegas), Cal State University Northridge and many more.

In 2004, Michelle Andria was top 5 among 300 unsigned R&B artists at the New York International Music Festival. She continues to write her future hits while penetrating the Hollywood scene by coaching singers from aspiring to professional as well as pursue her acting.
GROWING UP
Michelle Andria grew up in a musically inclined family that encouraged her to sing at seven. Her grandma is an opera singer and her grandpa a band manager. She is a niece of the Pinoy Rock Explo champion, the famous Abrakadabra , niece of dynamic Dance Fever champions, Joanne and Marie , niece of multi-platinum group called The Boyfriends , also a niece of an accomplished director of ABS-CBN, Bong Ferrer . In her childhood, she grew up in a household filled with pumpin' music; dance rehearsals in the living room and band rehearsals in the backyard. She understood that practice brings it to perfection and sought after having a heart of a winner! She appeared in television shows in the Philippines to sing solo or dance with a group.
TOP 2 AGAINST THOUSANDS
When she moved to the U.S., her mother Alma, drummer and singer of a band called The Roaring Waves, coached her to join different competitions. The biggest one was the Nikkodo International contest in Los Angeles, California that vie against thousands of different ethnics where she was selected to be top two representing the Philippines. She was then discovered to become the lead singer of The W'Sshh that electrified the LA communities. She was found on the front covers and center pages of many different LA newspapers and magazines.
ROOTS OF HER SOULFUL VOICE
Michelle led a soprano group of a gospel choir that was predominantly African-American where she learned both vocal and spiritual strength. Michelle Andria says, "I used to get teased a lot with so many names like song bird, jelly bean, little Michelle, and soul sistah. The best jokes I get were, Are you sure you ain't black? or Where'd you get that big voice from in that tiny body?"
IT'S UP TO YOU!
