Venus in Furs

In my dreams I must have known what was to come.

About Me

The endless possibilities of the human character cannot be stuffed into a series of labeled boxes to signify all that is stored within. I am the sum of all dualities. I am wisely stupid, beautifully ugly, seriously funny and perfectly flawed. Layout Provided By FreeCodeSource.com - Myspace Layouts

My Interests

My first book, FUSION: BLENDING OF MIND, BODY, SPIRIT, was published in late 2005 by a small publishing company in N.J. (http://clarity-press.com). "...overall wellbeing is attributable to the successful bleinding of crucial life components: mind, body, spirit."

I'd like to meet:

Writers, readers, thinkers, and artists of all kinds. Please dont send me an add request without introducing yourself. I prefer the thoughtful quiet of solitude to a depthless togetherness.

Music:

New Model Army (my all time fave), Nick Cave (and of course, Birthday Party), Wolfsheim, Dead Can Dance, Wumpscut, T.Rex, Velvet Underground, Psychadelic Furs, Portishead, Cramps, Toy Dolls, Angelic Upstarts, Ramones, Royal Crowns, Brian Setzer, Creatures, Social Distortion, The Clash...blah, blah, blah, the list goes on and on.

Movies:

A Pyromaniac's Love Story, Nightmare Before Xmas, How to Kill Your Neighbor's Dog, Nightbreed, Lair of the White Worm, Foxfire, Girl Interrupted, 80's flicks.

Television:

Being I get paid to watch TV, I try not to sit in front of the idiot box during my free time.... But.....here are a few of my favorite things (hum the theme song to Sound of Music here)....Young Ones, Black Adder, Monty Python, Are You Being Served, Six Feet Under, Sopranos, All In The Family, Munsters, etc.

Books:

Story of O; And the Ass Saw the Angel; Anna Karenina, Venus in Furs (obviously); Bleak House; Madame Bovary; Wuthering Heights; Crime and Punishment; House of Leaves; Reading Lolita in Tehran; When We Were Gods; Mist of Avalon series, Kite Runner, Life of Pi.Reading is my true passion. It is a time to step outside of one's self and engage in all of our innermost desires, curiosities, and debaucheries. There is beauty in every book-- a simple phrase, a scene, a well crafted character, the extraordinary usage of literary device. "Look clearly into the sources of rapture, rather than content one's self with unilluminating words and phrases." - Proust.

Heroes:

Sundried tomato, fresh mozzarella, baby spinach with a dash of balsamic vinegar on a 6" roll.
