I love listening to and making music, collecting comics, CDs and DVDs, watching TV, science fiction and artistic videos, photography, watching movies (a given), UFOs, world news, ending world hunger, etc., etc.
Jeff Goldblum, Dominic Frontiere--the composer (though I have known him by phone since 2001), Hayden Panettiere (of HEROES), Richard Dean Anderson (Stargate SG-1), David Hewlett (Stargate Atlantis), Dennis Franz (NYPD Blue), Jerry Seinfeld, Anthony Michael Hall (star of Dead Zone), Brad Garrett ('Til Death, Everybody Loves Raymond), Matt Dallas of Kyle XY and so many, many others in the music, movie and television field. I am thankful to be good friends since 1987 with Roy Thinnes, the star of The Invaders, my favorite TV show from the 1960's. Also, I like movie writers, film actors, electronic musicians and photorealistic artists, especially those in the comic book field. I love the arts, and most certainly movies and video, the field I work in. I am planning a trip around the country in late 2007 to meet with many of my friends.

I like film music, including such composers as Jerry Goldsmith, Bernard Herrmann, Danny Elfman and John Williams. I've been known to listen to classical from Bach to Gershwin to Tchaikovsky as well as Jazz, Pop, Rock, etc. I also listen to a lot of 80's music, especially since many synthpop bands got their start back then.
The Time Machine (1960 version), The Day The Earth Stood Still, To Kill A Mockingbird, In Like Flint, Close Encounters Of The Third Kind, Star Wars (all), Matrix (all 3), Stargate, Independence Day, Spider-Man, Bruce Almighty, The Hulk, Superman (the first one that came out in 1978), Superman Returns (a great movie with a lot of heart), X-Men, Monsters Ball, War Of The Worlds (both versions) and hundreds of others. I find myself watching a lot of Jackie Chan movies, especially his more recent pictures. Yeah, I lean toward sci-fi and action movies. I just love movies per se.
I love HEROES! My favorite show of all time, however, is THE INVADERS. It came out for two seasons in 1967 and starred a friend of mine, Roy Thinnes. I also love Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis. I live and breathe that show. Mostly because Colonel O'Neill makes me laugh. I also like Leave It To Beaver, Kyle XY, Battlestar Galactica (the new series and even the old), Smallville (a great show!), Roswell, Everybody Loves Raymond, Judge Judy, Seinfeld, Dead Zone, 4400, Monk, COPS, the CSIs, NYPD Blue, Scrubs, Joan Of Arcadia (well that's off the air now), Dark Angel (first season was the best), all the Star Treks, The X-Files (first four seasons were best), the new show Til Death with Brad Garrett, Roseanne, Spike Fereston, Benny Hill and others I will probably think of later. I also like cartoons like The Flintstones and The Simpsons (d'oh!), King Of The Hill et al.
The Time Machine by HG Wells. Wells was and remains the classic writer of the people. He was for the common man much like George Bernard Shaw. Both were left of center and their writings shaped my philosophy. Other great books are Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramhansa Yogananda, Return To Love: Reflections on the Principles of "A Course in Miracles" by Marianne Williamson and an older book called When Worlds Collide by Philip Wylie (I have the movie but lost my copy of the book). Other good books are Disappearance Of The Universe by Gary Renard and A Course In Miracles by the Foundation For Inner Peace. I also like Bradbury and many others.
Roy Thinnes, John Anast, David Zinn, John Koval, Dominic Frontiere, John Williams, Bernard Herrmann, H.G. Wells, Martin Luther King, Jeff Goldblum, Richard Dean Anderson, Ray Romano, Jerry Seinfeld, and many others. Also, it's important to say that our soldiers here and abroad are true heroes, even if we might not agree with the wars they're fighting. Without our voluntary military who put it on the line for us each and every day, we'd have no freedom at all. Also, the police and firefighters who are in the line of fire (both virtually and figuratively) every day right here at home. Yeah, this may sound corny, but it don't change how I feel. I respect writers H.G. Wells and George Bernard Shaw. Their philosophy is close to my own. Lastly, I consider the working person a hero, too. The multi-colored collars of everyman. Every day putting their all and not getting very much back. Overtaxed and overburdened, the American working person still leads the world in dedication to job and family. Now I can go put all this corn to use by having a bowl of cereal.
