So yeah, I suck at starting these things... I'm 21, the younger of two children, and have a pretty unusual background. I'm a product of a bi-racial couple, thus my mutt existence. I'm parts Irish, English, Russian, Arabic, and Mongolian. I have a weird first name, Zareen, which is persian for golden, which is very appropriate for "ze golden child" he he he. Okay, that was a dumb and cheesy joke, but then again, I have a cheesy sense of humor. I speak french, hindi, urdu, english and spanish, not all of them fluently, and have a thing for reading, so I guess I'm a bit of a nerd. I have a weird relationship with electronics, coz when they break down and don't cooperate with other people, I've miraculously fixed them... I swear, they're alive. I drink occassionally with my boyfriend and friends, though I'm not huge on going out to bars. Frankly, bars are crowded with obnoxious drunks, are usually nauseously smoke-filled, and the drinks tend to be ridiculously expensive. I'd rather just grab a thirty case of miller and kick back with my friends. I'm a video gamer, believe it or not, and am pretty decent at most of 'em. My all time fave is playing the campaign from Halo 1 on legendary. I've recently delved into the Dead Or Alive series, and racing games, and have to say they're pretty fun to play when I can't sleep at 3 in the morning. One could say I'm a tomboy, because I watch ESPN for a good majority of the day (It's always on at my work place), and am very into sports. I'm a huge fan of baseball, and recently got into soccer. I love rugby, and hockey. Both are highly misunderstood sports, and are actually quite intricate in their own right. I swear, cry, get pissed off at blatant stupidity, have passionate discussions about politics, social, racial, psychological and religious topics, and goof off in front of people who know me. I'm fiercely loyal to my family and friends, and am not afraid to take on a bully. I thrive on excitement and change, and take whatever life throws at me. I believe in smiling at people I pass on the street, and starting conversations with complete strangers. I write, paint and draw when I'm in an emotional turmoil. I read a lot, and am willing to try new things (food, clothes, music, etc.). Anyway, add me if you like, or don't...And, read my blogs! They're not intellectual or great pieces of writing...just me typing away about my thoughts and life... they've been a bit weird but I think they should take a turn for the better and evolve into funny and entertaining soon... :P
