Happy to know:
What is a friend? I will tell you. It is a person with whom you dare to be yourself. Your sould can be naked with him (or her). He (or she) seems to ask of you to put on nothing, only to be what you are. He (or she) does not want you to be better or worse. When you are with him (or her), you feel as a prisoner feels whom has been declared innocent. You do not have to be on your guard. You can say what you think, so long as it is genuinely you. He (or she) understands those contradictions in your nature that lead others to misjudge you. With him (or her) you breathe freely. You can avow your little vanities and envies and hates and vicious sparks, your meannessess and absurditites and in, in opening them up to him (or her_, they are lost, dissolved on the white ocean of his (or her) loyality. He (or she) understands. You can abuse him (or her), neglect him (or her), tolerate him (or her). Best of all, you can keep still with him (or her). It makes no matter. He (or she) likes you -- he (or she) is like the fire that purges to the bone. He (or she) understands. He (or she) understands. You can weep with him (or her), sin with him (or her), laugh with him (or her), pray with him (or her). Through it all -- and underneath -- he (or she). Knows and loves you. A friend? What is a friend? Just one, i repeat, with whom you dare to be yourself.

I am a passenger
And I ride and I ride
Ride through the city's back sides
See stars come out of the sky
Yeah the bright and hollow sky
You know it looks so good tonight
I am a passenger
I stay under glass
I look through my window so bright
See the stars come out tonight
I see the bright and hollow sky
Over the city's red back side
And everything looks good tonight
Sing it
La la la la la la
La la la la la la
La la la la la la

Get into the car
We'll be the passengers
We'll ride through the city at night
See the city's red back side
See the bright and hollow sky
See the stars that shine so bright
The stars made for us tonight
Oh the passenger
How how he rides
Oh the passenger
He rides and he rides
Looks through his window
What does he see?
Sees the bright and hollow sky
Sees the stars come out tonight
Sees the city's red back side
Sees the winding ocean drive
And everything was made for you and me
All of it was made for you and me
It just belongs to you and me
So let's take a ride
See what's mine
Sing it
La la la la la la
La la la la la la

Sing it

The Passenger by Michael Hutchence [cover from Iggy Pop] for Batman Forever Original Soundtrack...
Also if you can't tell it is my favorite song ever....
I’m just a dreamer, I dream my life away, today
I’m just a dreamer, who dreams of better days, ok
I’m just a dreamer, who’s searching for the way, today
I’m just a dreamer, dreaming my life away
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah
Dreamer from Down to Earth
Hey! Wait!
I've got a new complaint
Forever in debt to your priceless advice
Your advice
Meat-eating orchids forgive no one just yet
Cut myself on angel's hair and baby's breath
Broken hymen of your highness I'm left black
Throw down your umbilical noose so I can climb right back
Heart-Shaped Box from In Utero
There’s a lady who’s sure
All that glitters is gold
And she’s buying a stairway to heaven.
When she gets there she knows
If the stores are all closed
With a word she can get what she came for.
Ooh, ooh, and she’s buying a stairway to heaven.
Straightway to Heaven from Led Zeppelin III
There is no pain you are receding
A distant ship, smoke on the horizon.
You are only coming through in waves.
Your lips move but I can't hear what you're saying.
When I was a child
I caught a fleeting glimpse
Out of the corner of my eye.
I turned to look but it was gone
I cannot put my finger on it now
The child is grown,
The dream is gone.
I have become comfortably numb.
Comfortably Numb from The Wall Soundtrack Disc Two
When I look into your eyes
I can see a love restrained
But darlin' when I hold you
Don't you know I feel the same
'Cause nothin' lasts forever
And we both know hearts can change
And it's hard to hold a candle
In the cold November rain
We've been through this such a long long time
Just tryin' to kill the pain
But lovers always come and lovers always go
An no one's really sure who's lettin' go today
Walking away
If we could take the time to lay it on the line
I could rest my head
Just knowin' that you were mine
All mine
So if you want to love me then darlin' don't refrain
Or I'll just end up walkin'
In the cold November rain
November Rain from Use Your Illusion II
Since the Prehistoric ages and the days of ancient Greece
Right down through the Middle Ages
Planet earth kept going through changes
And then no renaissance came, and times continued to change
Nothing stayed the same, but there were always renegades
Like Chief Sitting Bull, Tom Paine
Dr. Martin Luther King, Malcom X
They were renegades of their time and age
So many renegades
Renegades Of Funk from Rage Against The Machine
Open up your mind and let me step inside
Rest your weary head and let your heart decide
It's so easy when you know the rules
It's so easy all you have to do
Is fall in love

Ev'rybody play the game of love

Dream yourself a dream come true
Dream on, dream on
Dream until your dream come true
Dream on, dream on, dream on...

Please allow me to introduce myself
I’m a man of wealth and taste
I’ve been around for a long, long year
Stole many a man’s soul and faith
And I was ’round when jesus christ
Had his moment of doubt and pain
Made damn sure that pilate
Washed his hands and sealed his fate
Pleased to meet you
Hope you guess my name
But what’s puzzling you
Is the nature of my game
Sympathy for the Devil from Beggars Banquet
Gently they stir, gently rise
The dead are newborn awakening
With ravaged limbs and wet souls
Gently they sigh in rapt funeral amazement
Who called these dead to dance?
Was it the young woman learning to play the ghost song on her baby grand?
Was it the wilderness children?
Was it the ghost God himself, stuttering, cheering, chatting blindly?
I called you up to anoint the earth
I called you to announce sadness falling like burned skin
I called you to wish you well
To glory in self like a new monster
And now I call you to pray
Newborn Awakening from Jim Morrison: An American Prayer
Nights in white satin never reaching the end.
Letters I've written never meaning to send.
Beauty I'd always missed with these eyes before.
Just what the truth is I can't say anymore
The Night: Nights in White Satin from Days of Future Passed
I shoulda seen you was trouble right from the start, taught me so many lessons
How not to mess with broken hearts, so many questions
When this began we was the perfect match,
Perhaps,
We had some problems but we workin at it, and now the arguments
are gettin loud, I wanna say
But I can't help from walkin out just a little way
Just take my hand and understand, if you could see
I never planned to be a man it just wasn't me
But now I'm searchin for commitment, in other arms
I wanna shelter you from harm, don't be alarmed
Your attitude was the cause, you got me stressin
Soon as I open up the door with your jealous questions
Like where can I be you're killin me with your jealousy
Now my ambition's to be free
I can't breathe, cause soon as I leave, it's like a trap
I hear you callin me to come back, I'm a sucka for love that's right, sucka for love.
Do For Love from R U Still Down? (Remember Me)
I saw his life slippin, this is a minor setback,
Yo still in all we livin', just dream about the getback,
That made him smile though his eye said "pray for me,"
I'll do you one better and slay these niggas faithfully,
Murder is a tough thing to digest, its a slow process,
And I aint got nothing but time,
I had near brushes, not to mention,
Three shots close range, never touched me,

Dead Presidents from Reasonable Doubt
As I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
I take a look at my life and realise there's none left
Cause I've been brassing and laughing so long that
Even my mamma thinks that my mind is gone
But I aint never crossed a man that didn't deserve it
Me be treated like a punk, you know that's unheard of
You better watch how you talking, and where you walking
Or you and your homies might be lined in chalk
I really hate to trip but I gotta lope(?
As they croak I see myself in the pistal smoke ... fool
I'm the kinda G that little homies want to be like

She's Lump, she's Lump
She's in my head
She's Lump, she's Lump, she's Lump
She might be dead
Is this Lump out of my head, I think so
Is this Lump out of my head, I think so, yeah
Is this Lump out of my head, I think so
Is this Lump out of my head

(singing)Hush now baby, baby, don't you cry.
Mother's gonna make all of your nightmares come true.
Mother's gonna put all of her fears into you.
Mother's gonna keep you right here under her wing.
She won't let you fly, but she might let you sing.
Mama will keep baby cozy and warm.
Ooooh babe, ooooh babe, oooooh babe,
Of course Mama's gonna help build the wall." Mother (David Gilmour)
My great great great granddaddy was a pimp and a slave. He would have his hoes out in the field picking his cotton for him, he didn't have to do a goddamn thing! Skip (Chris Tucker)
"We don't read and write poetry because it's cute. We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion. And medicine, law, business, engineering, these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for. To quote from Whitman, "O me! O life!... of the questions of these recurring; of the endless trains of the faithless... of cities filled with the foolish; what good amid these, O me, O life? Answer. That you are here - that life exists, and identity; that the powerful play goes on and you may contribute a verse." That the powerful play goes on and you may contribute a verse. What will your verse be?" John Keating (Robin Williams)
"I believe in America. America has made my fortune. And I raised my daughter in the American fashion. I gave her freedom, but I taught her never to dishonor her family. She found a boyfriend; not an Italian. She went to the movies with him; she stayed out late. I didn't protest. Two months ago, he took her for a drive, with another boyfriend. They made her drink whiskey. And then they tried to take advantage of her. She resisted. She kept her honor. So they beat her, like an animal. When I went to the hospital, her nose was a'broken. Her jaw was a'shattered, held together by wire. She couldn't even weep because of the pain. But I wept. Why did I weep? She was the light of my life beautiful girl. Now she will never be beautiful again. I went to the police, like a good American. These two boys were brought to trial. The judge sentenced them to three years in prison - suspended sentence. Suspended sentence! They went free that very day! I stood in the courtroom like a fool. And those two bastards, they smiled at me. Then I said to my wife, for justice, we must go to Don Corleone." Bonsera (Salvatore Corsitto) The Godfather I
"If I could only live to see it, to be there with you. What I wouldn't give for twenty more years! Here we are, protected, free to make our profits without Kefauver, the goddamn Justice Department and the F.B.I. ninety miles away, in partnership with a friendly government. Ninety miles! It's nothing! Just one small step, looking for a man who wants to be President of the United States, and having the cash to make it possible. Michael, we're bigger than U.S. Steel." Hyman Roth (Lee Strasberg) The Godfather II
"Goodbye my old friend. You could have lived a little longer, I could be closer to my dream. You were so loved, Don Tommasino. Why was I so feared, and you so loved? What was it? I was no less honorable. I wanted to do good. What betrayed me? My mind? My heart? Why do I condemn myself so? I swear, on the lives of my children: Give me a chance to redeem myself, and I will sin, no more. " Michael Corleone (Al Pacino)
"I never fucked anybody over in my life didn't have it coming to them. You got that? All I have in this world is my balls and my word and I don't break them for no one. Do you understand? That piece of shit up there, I never liked him, I never trusted him. For all I know he had me set up and had my friend Angel Fernandez killed. But that's history. I'm here, he's not. Do you wanna go on with me, you say it. You don't, then you make a move." Tony Montana (Al Pacino)
"So I guess this is where I tell you what I learned - my conclusion, right? Well, my conclusion is: Hate is baggage. Life's too short to be pissed off all the time. It's just not worth it. Derek says it's always good to end a paper with a quote. He says someone else has already said it best. So if you can't top it, steal from them and go out strong. So I picked a guy I thought you'd like. 'We are not enemies, but friends. We must not be enemies. Though passion may have strained, it must not break our bonds of affection. The mystic chords of memory will swell when again touched, as surely they will be, by the better angels of our nature.'" Danny Vineyard (Edward Furlong)
"There can be no understanding between the hand and the brain unless the heart acts as mediator." Maria (Brigtte Helm)
Rupert Burns: "What do they say?
Andrew Martin: "That you can lose yourself. Everything. All boundaries. All time. That two bodies can become so mixed up, that you don't know who's who or what's what. And just when the sweet confusion is so intense you think you're gonna die... you kind of do. Leaving you alone in your separate body, but the one you love is still there. That's a miracle. You can go to heaven and come back alive. You can go back anytime you want with the one you love.
Rupert Burns: "And you want to experience that?
Andrew Martin: "Oh, yes, please.
Rupert Burns: "So do I." {Andrew Martin (Robin Williams) & Rupert Burns (Oliver Platt)}

I have several heroes.... I have my friends.... they are my heroes.... Isaac Scott; the biggest hero in my life... for one reason he also knew how to motive me... for that I'm grateful. There was also Bob Schaar, he was a Supervision at John E. Murry, I can't remember how to spell his last name but he was my principal at Alvarez for three years and he too is a hero for everything he did for Everett Alvarez.
