Hmmm, where to begin. Well, I was my parents’ last attempt at having a daughter. Yep, I was supposed to be Stephanie the ballerina since my mom was big into dancing and theater. Didn’t exactly happen although I got the long legs. On the other hand, my dad was a big athlete so I grew up with a real mix of hobbies and interests. On the “artsy” side, I do a lot of dancing (I teach swing and salsa) and have recently been writing and playing music. On the “athletic” side, I’m still very active with sports playing volleyball, basketball, tennis, and softball. Work-wise, I’m a Training Manager in the financial industry and on top of all that, I’ve had an interesting and entertaining time adjusting to LA since I just moved here from New York. Sure, I could also tell you funny stories about my love life (like how I once dated a stripper for 5 days. We were having a completely normal phone conversation at work when she suddenly informed me that she had to get naked since she was due in the nude room. My reply “Yea, I have an important meeting to get to myself.” Kiss that one goodbye) or entertaining tales from my childhood (I once peed in the refrigerator since I was potty trained to never go on the floor) but that would set myself up for excessive embarrassment in front of people I don’t even know. So I’ll just say that I have lot of different interests and hobbies- quite honestly, more than most people I know. If I'm not constantly learning or somehow challenging myself, I feel like I'm wasting time. I’m very outgoing, have no problem poking fun at myself, will crack some of the most painful jokes you’ll ever hear, and have a generally twisted sense of humor. Finally, I feel very fortunate to have such a close family and a great set of friends.
