Well, it all started in Muncie, IN. I was rescued by my current roomate after being left behind, locked in a vacant apartment with a bag of food. When I moved in with him, he had a lot of guitars around. I began fooling around with them a little, learned a few chords, started a band. We were pretty bad ass. After countless shows, hundreds of after parties, and many successful indie records, I started to grow a little bored. I dropped the band, and wanted to do a little soul searching.
Coming from Indiana, I had always had dreams of 'the big city', but couldn't decide on New York or Los Angeles (Chicago was too close to home). So, I did the only thing I new to do........... flip a coin (which, is really hard to do without a thumb). Heads=NY / Tails=LA.

Here we go. Moving day came faster than I could have imagined. Said my goodbyes and off I went. The whole trip west was so exciting. I had a great time watching the cars go by, I felt as if all of mankind was migrating with me.
Kansas was incredibly flat. I stayed in Lawrence with a friend and we tracked down William Burroughs old place. Next city we came to was Denver, so cool. We made it from Denver to LA in 12 hours. Vegas was a total blur. I'll have to stop by there another time. Total trip was around 2500 miles in a little over 2 days.
LA was total culture shock! I couldn't believe I had made it. Here I was..... where it ALL happens...... I could not have been happier.........
