i'm a bit of a slut i guessI failed my eleven Plus , thats where it all went down the shitter really. I did pass my art exam, but even at the tender age of eleven i knew that was worthless. i enjoyed school , sadly there was no amazing teacher who took me under there wing ,and guided me to the right path. There was one teacher who guided me to the locker room showers and asked me to take my cloths off. I didn't and when i reported him i was persuaded that i had missunderstood him........ i hadn't.
I sailed through school a hopeless underachiever and notorious bad spaller, i did well with the girls . i did fall foul of an older temptress which was a beautiful and dangerous thing . Which led to my first trip to the USA. i didn't enjoy it so much . When it was safe to return to England I did . I married .....I started playing drums in my brothers band.........i divorced. I returned to the USA....................more laterNY 87 . Playing drums with the nervous kind, single in New York, working in restaurant waiting tables,could not get laid to save my life. In fact the first two ladies i MET were English , from my home town . Thank you ladies. your mere presence stopped the persistent flirting of one of my male co workers . Billy was always trying to get me to wrestle. It was only the kindness of a close friend, who pointed out to me that Billy was gay, that curtailed our wrestling. Yes i was more than a little naive.I met my second wife on a blind date, i was not interested, all teeth and arse so i ditched her . I then spent the next six months regreting that move. and desperately trying to get a second date. Which i did on Jan 17 1988, and we have been together ever since. Our first child Kate was born a year later. By 1990 we had moved to San Francisco , where you maybe surprised to hear ................no gay men hit on me. We opened Kates Kitchen in 93 , with Daphs sister Eloise as the chef, we were voted best breakfast in SF two years running , Daph(my wife) was voted best waitress in the city.Little Lucy was born 1994 I joined The Sunshine Club and went all the way to The Grammys as the best unsigned band of 1996. What followed this ...........sex drugs and rock and roll , without the sex. The club faded off into the sunset , and I ."i became second rate bitter and just to late''which is actually a lyric from a hairdressers song . The hairdressers became the music lovers, My old friends Ted and Jon Brooder and i went on to record "the words we say before we sleep "for Le Grand Magistery. its still selling and has received great reviews, I'm sure my check is in the mail. Next I got myself a real(grownup) job. Which allowed my family to relocate to the east coast. Connecticut to be exact. without wishing to offend the good people of CT, but Jesus Christ WAKE UP you are living in a cultural vacuum. 8 months of misery finally ended . Eloise (my wives twin) came to our rescue. She offered us the chance to get back into the restaurant buisness. We became partners in El Camino Cantina (see myspace).
I now have time to play drums again. I am working with Citadel (see myspace)
i was diagnosed with cancer underwent surgery (see youruorolgist) and all is well...........live goes on . Who knows what the hell comes next.
