About the Album: Sonnets Vol 1 is a collection of 13 songs with music written and performed by Nick Noir. The songs are perfomances of a selection of favorite poems by W. Shakespeare. The album features Nick singing and playing a 12 string guitar with a tuning suggestive of a lute. The music is pop/rock influenced & current in it’s styling. Sonnets Vol 1 should be considered acoustic alternative or perhaps modern rock but doesnt fit neatly into any category.
