About Me

Tall.Ok, I guess I should put something else up there as well. Although "tall" is generally the first thing people notice.I'm a dot-com escapee, although since I did e-commerce, my track record is pretty good-- you'll recognize places I worked, and not because they crashed and burned.. My new gig is much more interesting, though-- I'm working at Technicolor in their digital cinema group. For fun, I enjoy theater, and have done a lot of improv over the last few years. I keep getting people saying that they want me to act in stuff they're trying to get off the ground, so I guess I've made it to Hollywood. Maybe one day I'll actually be in something.I'm also a rabid photographer who likes nothing better than slogging around some canyon looking for an interesting image. When all else fails, I'm either in front of my computer, in the gym, or just driving around town with the top down and the radio too far up...

My Interests

My Blog

Yet another drunken karaoke blog

I've already blogged about the need to put a breathalyzer on the "post" button, right? Ok, good, we can move on. That is, if this page ever settles down. I'm the drunk one here, why is the "view sourc...

Reasons I love L.A.

(and yes, it's L.A., not LA. Although I'm sure Louisiana's nice too, now that its been mopped up and stuff.) 1- When the karaoke host plays the video for the song that you just sang right after you si...

Hackers can bite me

playdatabase.com got hacked AGAIN. Probably the third or fourth time now. Second time this month, anyway, although I'm guessing I didn't clean up the thing properly after the first hack job. I really ...

Cool or scary? You decide.

I just discovered that Vons online tracks everything that I've purchased. Including stuff I bought in the store. Creepy! 10 years of shopping history right there for anyone to look at it! On the flip...

Bowling + radar gun =....

Equals a lot of things, actually. First and foremost, it means that I'm gonna show off. :) With my height, I can get a lot of leverage on a swing, leading to some good speed, and when there's actual...

I may be old...

...but apparently I can still dunk. With a bad ankle no less. Of course, I travelled like someone with a Capitol One card in their pocket. And it was during warm ups. But I was the only person in th...

A Basketball First...

...well, for me anyway. In tonight's game, I actually did a little something I like to call a quadruple-- I scored a basket, had an assist, pulled down a rebound, and blocked a shot. I actually had a ...

Let the mid-life crisis begin!

So some guys at work convinced me to join their basketball team, and we had our first practice game tonight. We played 5 guys to their 4, and they still outscored us 2 to 1. I was impressed that I did...

Interesting choice...

Office Space? Is he more famous for that than Beavis & Butthead now? Did they not make this movie for the King of the Hill demographic? Oh yeah, McCafferty's in this. So buy it 'n stuff. Cause th...
