An art of ambiguity, the assertion of the irrepressibly human above all things.

About Me

My personal blog is here .
follow me at twitter
listen to my muxtape!
I've got a second home. It's called Das Bunker, it's every Friday night, and it's awesome. Come dance with us.
(yes, I'm in this, but blink and you'll miss me.)
..
I don't care about your looks. I care what you're about. I want to know what your life's work is, I want to know what you're learning about the world, I care what you're doing to fix it. I care what kind of person you are.

I love art. I collect rock-and-roll photography, Henry Evans prints, and antique textiles, mostly Asian or Ottoman in origin.
I read like it's going to be outlawed.
I put myself through graduate school at USC Annenberg. While working full-time. I have an iron constitution AND balls of titanium.
I still write.
I don't perform at all these days (I'm semi-retired) but I'd do it on request.
Officially, I'm about to become a citizen of two countries, but realistically, I consider myself a citizen of the world.
My career is the only thing I've ever had that took any kind of care of me. Enter and exit my life knowing that fact.
My temper is short for the vainglorious, ill-mannered, ignorant, and foolhardy.
I'm the most self-conscious overachiever you will ever meet.
Bob said I'm an island unto myself. I didn't disagree.
Being a woman in the tech industry is often as difficult as you might imagine.
I'm a feminist and proud of it. That doesn't mean I hate men or I don't cook. It means I am a living example of what it means to be truly independent.
I'm a cartographer of matters of the heart.
I'm naturally nocturnal.
People tend not to forget about me, much as I might wish they would.
If I amaze, it's because I'm perfect a reflection of how amazing the people in my life are.

I no longer mistake personality for character.
