Astrotheology & Shamanism

About Me

I'm an independent researcher, author and lecturer in archaeoastronomy, astrotheology, ethnopharmacology, shamanism, symbolism, ancient and modern mythology, fertility cults, and ancient and modern religion.
I co-authored the book Astrotheology & Shamanism: Unveiling the Law of Duality in Christianity and Other Religions, 2006, with Andrew Rutajit. I also co-produced the DVD The Pharmacratic Inquisition, 2007, also with Andrew Rutajit.
I'm the author of the new book The Holy Mushroom: Evidence of Mushrooms in Judeo-Christianity; A critical re-evaluation of the schism between John M. Allegro and R. Gordon Wasson over the theory on the entheogenic origins of Christianity presented in The Sacred Mushroom and the Cross, © 2008, to be released later this year. For more information, please see TheHolyMushroom.com
I'm the curator of the official website for John Marco Allegro, the much criticized Dead Sea Scrolls scholar, and have contributed much to the re-examination of many of Allegro’s theories. I contributed much of the research toward the academic article Wasson and Allegro on the Tree of Knowledge as Amanita, 2006, with Michael Hoffman. This article is to be published in The Journal of Higher Criticism, sometime in 2008.
I was featured in the documentaries The American Drug War, aired on Showtime; and the recently released Canadian film, High Jacking Humanity.
I have over 15 years of research into the study of ethno-pharmacology and drugs. Through the years I've given dozens of public speeches and radio interviews regarding these studies.
I'm happy to announce the release of our DVD and online video, The Pharmacratic Inquisition! The entire DVD is now available for online viewing. GnosticMedia.com or Pharmacratic-Inquisition.com

My Interests

I love to discover the undiscovered!

I also enjoy my research and reading and being a writer. I study ethnomycology, entheobotany, archaeoastronomy, comparative mythology, anthropology, archaeology, philology, astronomy, sacred mathematics, sexology, theology, folklore, etc.

Then there's the outdoors - skiing, jeeping, scuba, mushroom hunting, star gazing, camping - and the occasional outdoor party, and just being outdoors. I also enjoy meeting people and the occasional intellectual discussions.

I'd like to meet:

Music:

Oingo Boingo, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Depeche Mode, Pink Floyd, Grateful Dead, Riblja Corba, Goa Gil, Cypress Hill, Los Marijuanos, Love & Rockets, Mars Volta, and many, many others.

I like just about anything EXCEPT country.

Movies:

My favorite movies are 2001: A Space Odyssey and A Clockwork Orange both by Kubrick. And of course, the Matrix and V for Vendetta. Star Wars and THX by Lucas. Pi, Dune, Waking Life, Blade Runner, Harry Potter, and most certainly The Nightmare Before Christmas - Danny Elman, Boingo.
