Since first opening its doors, on January 18th, 2003, The Green Room established itself as Melbournes finest mid sized rock venue. From humble beginnings of a worn out, torn down gambling venue, The Green Room flourished as Melbournians turned their backs on the doof and the pokies as the scene has returned to rock and made our citys the envy of every others .Unfortunately, the owner of the building decided he didn't like all the noise coming from the basement anymore, and we were forced to close down, exactly four years to the day after we started. Hopefully we'll be able to reopen sometime in the not too distant future, but for now, a list of some of the great acts to play our fine establishment ....
