sahffi is an all original musician based out of Baltimore. sahffi's style is a spontaneous blend of rock, folk, and blues, stemming from her early love of classical music.sahffi has a degree in performance from the Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore, Maryland, but throughout her whole musical career, she has had a driving need to write intensely inspired songs and lyrics. She finally gave into the need and became a solo artist in 2001.
sahffi now performs solo, with her sister as a duo, and with her band, which includes her sister Shelly Work on vocals, Sean P. Finn on bass and violin, and Zach LeFeber on drums.
sahffi is currently working on her second album with her band, entitled, "Turning Tides". She is recording at The Bunker Recording Studio with Chris Bentley (http://www.recordinbaltimore.com). She expects to release the album in late Spring/early Summer of 2008. The album features guest artists such as Rene Hernandez on trumpet, Jason Love on cello, Rob Thorworth on guitar, and features a song written by Ken Gutberlet with the composer playing dobro.
Her first album,"...and i am not sorry.", is available on her website, sahffi.com, and at cdbaby.com.
