About Me

The diamond industry makes me ill. So does the sense of entitlement.

I dwell deeply in the realm of honest reality. It's the only way I know how to live. My body rejects fake, fraud, fantasy, faux, and fat elephants in the room. Open flaws, on the other hand, are welcomed, because, well, duh ....

When I give, I give 200%. I'm intensely loyal. Haven't figured out if these are beatiful traits or tragic flaws of my character.
Perhaps a little of both.

My morning cup of tea is my cup of tea. Milk, no sugar, hearty black leaf. I love it. It has a wonderful effect on me.

Meditations:
Assertive, but not aggressive.
Truth coupled with forgiveness.
Confidence without arrogance.
Smile and laugh every day, and spread said S&L to others.
Love.
Peace.
Love.
Kindness.
Love.
Make a difference.

My Interests

Roller Derby. Kickboxing.
Acting. Life. People.
Deep-fried tofu dipped in anything.

I'd like to meet:

People who DON'T suck.
HAPPY people.
People who are nice, funny, giving, compassionate, creative, confident, clever, exciting, open-minded and motivated.

People who want to make movies.
People who like to skate.
People who open doors to unchartered, ethereal places.
Artistic inspiritors and accidental guides.

People who love true and deep.

Big fan of the ID. Not so much of the EGO, or anythingone rating as egocentric, egoistic, egoistical, egomaniacal, egotistic, egotistical, ego-etc.

There is so much to do in L.A.
Check out some theatre and/or roller derby!!!

Music:

I listen to the radio at random, and the universe sends me messages.
Not kidding.

Movies:

All of them. They muse me.

Television:

Been sober since August of last year.

Books:

Can't say. Too revealing.

Heroes:

Your Mom.

And this kid. For real. Because he is who he is, and I hope he never loses his purity, his passion, and his motivation, no matter what his Mom or anyone else does or says to him. :-)

script teaser

There's a derby script in the works.I cropped and fine-tuned a monologue from it into a 3 minute piece for festivals and stuff. Still working on a 90 second version for quick auditions, and perhaps a ...

deductable tree

I cannot get over some of this U.S. Tax Code shit. Apparently, the loss of a tree due to fungus, disease, insects, worms, termites, moths, etc. is NOT deductible. OK - so how weird is it that someone ...

deductable monkey

I'm taking a class in U.S. Tax Code, just to add to the variety of possible job skills I may want to to use, and I'm getting pretty masterful with the U.S. Tax Code.  I got an A- on my midterm. A...

I got this email from one of my friends.  I had to share; it was so adorable.   (I asked permission and changed the kids' names because the internet is evil.)   Our good friends the Smi...
