I am a semi-retired journalist and life-long author. My field is fantasy -- specifically heroic fantasy, inspired by African myths and legends. I've had books published, but have never had a best-seller. Undaunted, I continue. My website is: www.charlessaunderswriter.com.

My Interests

I'm a laid-back product of the '60s, now in my 60s.

I'd like to meet:

Readers, writers, thinkers, fighters for social justice, people who care about what's going on in the world.

Music:

Old-school soul, jazz, r & b, reggae, world, electronic are my favorites, but I can listen to just about anything.

Movies:

SF and adventure for the most part, although I can also get into art movies.

Television:

Mostly news, given my recent employment as a journalist.

Books:

Pretty well anything I can get my hands and eyes on.

Heroes:

Everyone who tries to make the world a better place.
