Knowledge versus Knowing = Ownership

There is a big difference between knowledge and knowing. Knowledge is an intellectual process. Knowing is an ownership process. We can obtain knowledge and know that it is truth, but until that knowledge is continuously forged in action, we will never own it. Knowing is owning, and the key to survival and living in abundance is ownership. Move from knowledge to knowing!

There are many who won't allow the real factors in life to catch hold of their conscious state of existence. They seek an easy form oflife that require little involvement or participation. Leaving their conscious state of existence in the hands of others, who more thenlikely have no interest in whether they exist.

African Consciousness: Implies that you are fully aware of who and what you are and your situation as it relates to the world thus one would conclude that this awareness would yield actions that are complementary to your situation i.e. improving a bad situation or maintaining a good one. One who subscribes and practices thoughts and deeds, which promotes unity among people of African descent. Being African conscious we also know that we are not the ethnically, so-called racially, cultural, social or political "opposites" of any other human beings. We are open minded enough to stay aware of the ministers of propaganda and social conditioning that is handed down to the masses through the media and government at large.

I believe in economic, social and political power withoutindoctrinated social controls to keep me in the same condition.

I believe we should supply our own enthusiasm, excitement, anticipation, hopefulness and eagerness. To me this is the only way to live life in a complete and well-rounded fashion.

Strong, uninhibited, progressive, critical thinking is paramount tobuilding better communities. The idea is to create a lasting self-nurturing permanence in the lives of people of African descent.
