About Me

The voice of Land Of Doom , Dee Brian C. began his musical voyage in 1980 with a band colorfully called The Village Pimples. He spent the early and mid-1980s honing his vocal talents, and added bassist to his resume in late 1985. Since then he has recorded and toured with numerous projects, as vocalist, as bassist, and in some cases as both.
In 2001, Dee joined renowned Black Sabbath tribute After Forever, which spawned After Therapy in early 2005. In August of 2005, After Therapy released their Self-Inflicted CD on their own Sireen Records label. The group disbanded in late 2007, at which time Dee co-founded Land Of Doom.
In addition to Land Of Doom, Dee is also the voice of Straddle The Bomb, a 60s/70s/80s rock cover band.
When not writing or performing, Dee spends time at home with this wife , his daughter & son , and two cats .

the name game

The cover band I'm playing with finally has a name--Straddle The Bomb.  When it was suggested to me, all I could think of was Slim Pickens at the end of Dr. Strangelove, and I fuckin' loved it. S...

My afternoon producer called me at around 8:10pm this evening, on his way home.  It seems that he had quite the time walking to and then driving out of the parking garage that we use near our off...

The coolest thing that ever happened to me onstage...

...happened this past Saturday night. I was onstage with some bandmates and friends, jamming at an outdoor birthday bash in Southern Maryland.  During a lead break, I turned my back to the crowd,...

gearing the ol’ Sabbath tribute back up

With the addition of Matt to the band, we've decided to do a few shows as After Forever (a Black Sabbath tribute).  Matt is a bona fide Sabbath fanatic, and I've never heard anyone play Bill Ward...

Black Sabbath last Friday, May 18th

Yeah, I know I'm a few days late, but I've been busy. All of us in After Therapy, band and entourage, went to see Sabbath in Columbia MD last week.  You'll notice I don't refer to it as "Hea...
