"Good old-fashioned stomp-driven metal, with a hint of doom, a hint of classic metal, and a hint of contemporary heaviness."-Rob Bohrer, Molten Rock Zine
"4.5 out of 5; Nothing fancy here, just good ballsy and loud metal that we sadly don’t hear enough of anymore."-Intensity Zine
"After Therapy doesn’t reinvent the wheel, they’re simply satisfied to run you over with the wheel that’s already there."-CafePress.com
"This CD is out of control, with the edginess of Priest and darkness of Sabbath; After Therapy is going straight to the top."-Frank Helisek, One Tribe International Entertainment

After Therapy was the brainchild of guitarist Charlie Johnston and vocalist Dee Brian C., who began their musical workings in 2001 with After Forever, a Black Sabbath tribute.
After Therapy’s Self-Inflicted CD was released in August of 2005 on Sireen Records. The disc offered no frills or pretentiousness; After Therapy’s assault was metal the way it should be played-buzzsaw chunky guitar riffs, a concussive rhythm section, and ear-shattering vocals. The CD was very well-received by fans and critics alike.
Fans of bands like Black Sabbath and Judas Priest love After Therapy’s searing classic metal roar. Fans of more contemporary heavy bands love After Therapy’s knuckle-dragging low-tuned heavy sound.
Welcome aboard, After Therapy may have ended, but your therapy will continue on and on...
