Carl Leissler is the founding member of Disciples of Aggression. He was the front man of the band. When Carl had the idea to bring Disciples to life, he was introduced to Russ, by mutual friend, Sasha Petrov. When Carl heard Russ play, his style was exactly what Disciples was, heavy, aggressive and deminished. Russ was Disciples first guitar player. That was when the greatest band of it's time took it's first breath. In another bands SHOWCASE! One show was canceled, however, 4 days after the accident Disciples was on stage at (JAXX )in Springfield Virginia, opening for DOA. ( I USED MY FACE AS A FUCKING AIRBAG)Together with the collaborations of the other band members they wrote numerous songs in a short period of time. The band lasted 8 months, but within that 8 months, the band became the most sought out band in the metal genre in the DC, Maryland, Virginia Metro area.
