My true loves are my family number one always, listening to music, going to see live bands play, looking at art/art history, meeting people - all different kinds of people, nature, gardening, comedy, history and ancient sites. I'm happiest when I can feel the wind in my hair and the sand inbetween my toes. I enjoy walking on the local hillsides close to me and the pretty parks. I'm more of a Summertime person than a Wintertime person (although I love snow and Yuletide). I love a really loud thunder storm with fork lightning. I love playing around with my two beautiful boys, nurturing their natural abilities. To see life through the eyes of a child again - well it's truely amazing. I enjoy pottering in my garden, (gardening in the rain is great!). Feeding the birds in the garden, the ducks in the park, I love watching nature. I'm a real water baby and when I'm in the water, that's when I feel at one with the world, and truely happy. I love to swim and if I had my own pool I would swim naked too! My idea of a perfect evening would be just chillin out with good friends over a good meal & a drink and maybe watching a film and listening to music, catching up on what's been happening! I'm not the fittest girl on the block, but I do enjoy the gym alone or with my friend. I love people who make a difference, no matter how small - it's better than people doing nothing at all. I hate apathy. I hold some strong opinions and love a good discussion on all sorts of topics. I know that people either love me or hate me because of this .... and my opinion on that is - well that's just fine! I don't hate a person for having a differing opinion to me. In fact, I find that good, it's interesting and leaves open some good discussion. Another perspective, can sometimes teach you a lot.I'd say, although overall I'm a happy go lucky kind of person, I've definitely grown up with an old head on young shoulders. I've had my ups and I've had my downs, and it's taught me such a lot. That the life we share is so important. I've had a tormented soul from time to time, and this has made me the person I am today. It's given me great strength. I suppose you could sum me up has being very young at heart with a wise old soul underneath it all!People who know me well, know I'm also partial to the odd drop of cider (Cider Woman), navy rum, gin, anything daft on the net, keeping in touch with folk, wearing dangly earrings, and I lust after rock stars and comedians big style!!My philosophy in life is this:If everyday you can smile or laugh then you've really achieved a great thing!
