About Me

When I fill this in I shudder when I read the words "About Me" cos Im not at all anally retentive ;) But Ive had a mad moment today thinking about me..shudders again! As Im not at all mainstream, and dont follow the crowd there is so much that never fits into a box with me! For instance, I dont own a car as I would kill too many people. I love punk rock, after all it was where I first managed to spit with gusto! I love classical music, and poetry, I have no age limit to who interests me, although I do draw the line at marriage proposals from anyone who lusts after me after viewing a photo. I love to dress up, (yup I can still hover on stilhettos at dawn) I love to shoot pool in a pair of well worn jeans, minus makeup. I still passionately dance, and that means to any kind of music, from celtic to rave, (I make it up as I go along) and it works ;) Impulsive mistakes has earned me a great role in life, now I take a helluva lot longer to make another, but when I do, boy its worth it! Im 50 years of age and well proud of getting here, so make the most of it, cos who knows how long I will stick around...there are still mistakes to be made and learned from, oh and I will end this about me section, a phrase from the most important woman in my life, my gran. My Interests

Music, dancing, travelling, growing old disgracefully, laughing, cos smiling is what I do best :)I was your original punk rocker and loved that era, in fact in my youth I kinda looked like my punk fairy in my profile, Now Im a mixture of all I have known, my wardrobe (cos Im a girlie it has to be talked about) is such a mixture from jeans to ball gown, but still have my very special pair of embroidered bell bottoms from last visit to glastonbury...sigh and sobI do have a serious side though...sorry folks, but that usually escapes in my creative moments of writing poetry, dont worry I wont be posting them here, well not yet ;)Im interested in everything, apart from rocket science and quantum physics....................

Television:

To be honest, most of it bores the hell outta me, the last time I was absoulutely transfixed was watching the series "Twin Peaks" other than that, documentaries or films, not an avid tv watcher. Other favourites The Prisoner Lost (although Im growing weary of it now)..................
