Those who know the difference between Art Nouveau, Arts and Crafts, and Art Deco. Oh, yeah, and if your profile has photos of you showing gang signs, you are a total fucking idiot. Really. The whole "gangsta" thing was stupid to begin with, and now it's just tired, tired, TIRED. I am NOT interested in knowing people who take all their lifestyle cues from rap videos.
FRIEND REQUESTS: If your profile is private and I have no way of seeing if we have things in common, I won't add you unless you send an e-mail.
MEN SENDING FRIEND REQUESTS, PLEASE READ THIS: If you are a man whose profile features a photo of your erection, don't send me a friend request. Although I am amused by your endless admiration of your member and "Look what I made!" pride in your achievement, I am not impressed with your ability to build a boner. Lots of guys can do it--your talent is not unique. Instead, please focus on the girls with a body full of silicone and an empty bookshelf. I'm sure they'd love to hear from you.
WOMEN SENDING FRIEND REQUESTS, PLEASE READ THIS: If you have no command of the English language and don't understand you're/your, they're/there/their, to/too; if you can't comprehend the use of commas and apostrophes (they are NOT for plural use, such as "I saw many Chihuahua's today"), and if your profile has a bunch of airbrushed fairies, cartoon women in B&D attire and all those fucking sparkly words on it, LEAVE ME ALONE. We will never be pals, especially if you like rap and breed uncontrollably.
BANDS WHO WANT TO BE ADDED, PLEASE READ THIS: I am NOT into metal, goth, electronica, hard rock, funk, rap, prog rock, new country, mainstream pop, classic rock, so-called "alternative" (I am old enough to remember when there really was such a thing) or hippie music. Read the list of genres/bands/musical artists that I like-- if your music fits, send a friend request. If not, please don't waste my time or yours. That also goes for metal bands who say they are "punk" or "psychobilly" to give themselves some credibility. Giving yourself the name does not make it so. If your band is barely competent, don't bother me. 90% of the bands on MySpace suck ass, and if I have to hear one more tone-deaf singer I'm going to start shooting. I have been toiling away in an under-appreciated but very good band for far too long to listen to a bunch of talentless jerks who would be better off pursuing a career in accounting. **P.S. Since I wrote this, a few people either didn't read my profile OR they see this as a "challenge". Again-- DON'T BOTHER. I am open to new music, but at my age, I definitely know what I don't like. I will not be converted and suddenly decide that your ridiculous black metal band, tedious house music, or pop-posing-as-alternative angst-ridden singer who fancies herself a "prettier PJ Harvey" (who also sucks and why she has a career is a mystery to me) the greatest sounds I have ever heard. So give up and go away. **P.P.S. For all you morons in classic rock revival bands (please don't revive it, let it die!) who aren't getting it, let me spell it out for you: I HATE THE BEATLES, THE ROLLING STONES, THE WHO, LED ZEP, CREAM, ERIC CLAPTON and all other limeys who raped the blues, along with American stoner crap like THE DOORS, JIMI HENDRIX, THE GRATEFUL DEAD, ETC. Now will you stop harrassing me?
