Alameda

I am here for Friends

About Me

I officially became an island on September 15th, 1902, when a parade and three-day celebration marked the opening of the canal that divides me from Oakland. I have one of the largest concentrations of Victorian architecture in California, and I have been home to the famed Naval Air Station and Coast Guard Island, which contributed to America's victory in WWII. My historic buildings, tree-lined streets and small-town atmosphere are a charming contrast to the other bustling cities in the Bay Area.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Current and former residents of Alameda.
