About Me

Takénobu is a vocal/cello and drums combo. The meaning of our Japanese name aptly suits the bold new spirit of the music we create. The essence of Takénobu is “strong heart and healthy spirit,” which comes alive in the emotional force of our vocal/cello timbre and the energy of our percussive rhythm. We'd like to thank everyone who takes the time to stop by and listen, and encourage you to come see us if you can!
