Born and raised in Montreal, Mira Shanti (singer/songwriter) is one of many young up and coming artists that's been working on her craft since she was just a little girl.... from putting up a play in her own backyard to singing as a fine member of the Saint Lawrence choir; The Montreal Symphony Orchestra... ..... ** Band History: I always was musically trained. Sang for different types of bands, but started working on my own craft in 1995... In 2003, I moved to Boston to pursue thoroughly my music career.. started writing songs and recorded my first song "Lucky Dayz" at one of Boston's College studio... "Lucky Daze" was played on the student radio that same year.... I've since moved back to Mtl due to life circumstances and started a new chapter in my life... I've recently participated as a choir member of the Montreal Jubilation (Gospel) Choir for the x-mas concerts and worked on vary projects, which one came out officially on the 15th of October 2007. His name is Luc Guimond (Ambient / Down-tempo / Electronica). "Battements". This is his first solo album release and this is only the tip of the iceberg.... I'm still seeking as far as the eyes can reach!!! ;) *** My dream**: To One day to be able to live of my art, travel further worlds and build my own studio where I can create and record whenever, at whatever time I want! loll... ** Short term goals**: To Get Out there and Show the world what I'm all about!! so stay tuned..... the best is yet to come....
