A little bit of everyone - other professionals in entertainment, new friends with similar interests, folks that work in non-profits (particularly involving youth and other societal issues), people in the DC metropolitan or New York areas, folks that went to Howard University or other HBCUs, folks who work in real estate, etc.
My favorite music is R&B/Soul music from the 50's to the present. I have a pretty diverse collection of music that includes 80s/90s pop, melodic hip-hop, adult contemporary and gospel. Some of my favorite artists include Aretha Franklin, Ronald Isley/Isley Brothers, Prince, Anthony Hamilton, Stephanie Mills, Lauryn Hill, Madonna, Whitney Houston, Dave Hollister, New Edition, Freddie Jackson, Ne-Yo, Johnny Gill, Usher, Anita Baker, Beyonce, Jay-Z (don't tell anyone) - to name a few.

My mom is deifnitely a hero. OK - this is more people I look up to (hero is a serious word) - Oprah Winfrey, Clive Davis, Nelson Mandela, Danny Glover, my sister, my friend Greg. Most importantly, in terms of a hero, Jesus Christ. I know I am missing some folks.
