About Me

Baby Lion REGGAE LOVE ALIVERupert L .Davidson (23/04/1973)In a time of war there are many beasts in the world today that are devouring lives but Baby Lion has come to inspire life with his music and message which is one of humility, redemption and truth as a true Rastafari.Baby Lion’s public exposure began when he entered a talent contest in his community, after winning the contest as the best singer; Baby Lion continued singing with the encouragement of strangers, friends and members of his community. He has worked with Sugar Minott along with another producer, Trevor Lovechild, who produced an all-star album, entitled “Cultural Revival—Jah is the Don.” Baby Lion had the opportunity to sing three tracks on the album, titled “Jah Love”, “Jah Almighty” and “Revival Reign” featuring Jah Karl. The album was released in 1995 on the Youth Man Promotion record label.Aside from rocking The Mandela Park crowd in Half Way Tree Square in Kingston Jamaica on Black History Month, Baby Lion’s greatest exposure as an artiste in the business so far, was when Blessed Love Records in Stuttgart invited him on a promotional trip to Germany in 1998. There he discovered the value and power of his music, which encouraged his urge of wanting to be heard, known and seen on the music scene.Baby Lion is currently getting ready to release a single, “God of My Salvation”; while organizing a new international festival project called Reggae Love Alive., which will be held on December 2nd, 2006 in [email protected] [email protected] www.jamaicatribune.com/artisteavenue/babylionrastapicney www.myspace.com/babylionrastapicney
