I definately don't nessecarilly know all of the individuals musicians or companies personally, though each individual on my Top40 is made aware when their profile is included. I have searched through many groups to network with artists/designers/photographers/seamstresses/vendors/clothin g companies from all over the earth that have inspired me. I wear the majority of the companies seen on my Top40, and support all of them. I am trying to network local(tri-state) musicians who have the potential to succeed. I belong to over 900 groups and I definitely beleive that myspace.com is definately, if utualized correctly, a better way enrich one's life than watching television and also a sufficient means of destroying or sabotaging one's own existance. I do not in any way advocate the war in Iraq but my two heroes are both currently playing a roll in it. The first is my Cousin Mellisa who was a nurse over there. I like to believe that all soldiers who are in or have been in Iraq had/have noble and heroic intentions though in my opinion what one intends is not always what they manifest. The other is my Cousin Matthew was a soldier who has had noble intentions and has manifested enough significant change that he is in every way a true hero. He compassionately has put himself on the line to rescue feed and rehabilitate orphaned and homeless Iraqi children.
