Always Pushing It, Sometimes in the Wrong Direction

About Me

Phinneus Gage was a foreman on the railway. An explosion accidentally sent a 3 foot long, 13 lb. metal rod into his skull, removing his left frontal lobe. He survived somehow and the only damage done was a dramatic change in personality.

Before the accident he was "dependable, industrious, well liked."

When he recovered, he was "restless, loud, profane, and impulsive."

His doctor described him as "manifesting little deference to his fellows, impatient of restraint or advice when it conflicts with his desires, at times pertinaciously obstinate, yet capricious and vacillating, devising many plans of future operations, which are no sooner arranged than they are abandoned."

"The Irish do not lend themselves to psychoanalysis." -- S. Freud

Muse is pretty cool. Like Radiohead, if Radiohead didn't suck. There's way too much to put here. I like music. All genres. Yep, even a little country and western, but I tend more towards the classics in genres I'm not heavily into. Which are few. I'm working on my classical: I'm leaning towards the Russians. Shostakovich was a badass. My music player is better than yours. Deal with it.
