About Me

Nosferatu have grown to become one of the most commercially successful Second Wave Gothic Rock Bands Worldwide and most certainly in England.They have sold well over 100,000 units worldwide of their own Singles & Albums alone, plus hundreds of thousands of songs on compilation albums since their first commercial release in 1991.Nosferatu have the credibility of being one of the few elite UK Gothic Rock bands to enjoy chart success both In The UK & Germany.They have a vast Back Catalogue of independent releases (7 singles, 10 albums (soon to be 11) and individual songs appearing on 40 different compilation albums, a DVD, a repertoire of nearly 100 Songs and have played over 250 concerts in 12 countries so far: Austria, Belgium, England, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Republic Of Ireland, Scotland, Spain & Wales.

Influences: The 3 week powercut after the UK storm of '87, the jealousy, revenge, love, anger and loss of 1990, a long lost postal romance, the terrifying consequences of naievity, the look in an eye, the falling face of death in a mirror, the sound and the rush of air in an undergound station, red lights in a dream, being the last one to leave because you don't want it to end EVER. Chemicals, Naturals, flashing red lights, burning white lights in closed eyes, white horses, dinosaurs in birds scaley faces, feeling closer to someone far away because you're sharing the moon, the smell of patchouli & lipstick on leather, First & Last & Always, thoughts of belonging but where nothing exists, It, the very end of the last vocal note on Fight, death. Death and DEATH. The coolness of electronic handclaps, the twist of a dancing stripey tight and the disguise in a fringe. All the friends, places and debts we'd never have met, seen and owed were it not for this crazy damned thing called NOSFERATU.
Sounds Like: A guitarist, a choir, a pianist and an orchestra, buried in a pit with a bassist and a drummer and invited to accompany the lost to heaven whilest the organ grinder plays on...
