About Me

My dad is black. My mom is white. All my life racism is a thing I had to fight. A battle each & every day. I dont' know what else to say. To which god do I pray? Is it Ala, Jah, Yahweh, Lord, Buddah, or Jesus Christ? Do I raise my fists and fight? Might as well, bound for hell. Give me the price I'll pay the cost to get out of here even wait 10 years, if it means I can find out who I am Woman or man? Boy or girl? Do I take over the world? and then scream AHHHHHHHHHH So all of them can hear me? Am I nice or am I mean? Do I sit in silence? Respect Sirens? Sitting on my bed, Crying instead Trying to figure out what's up in my head. I grab a dread in frustration and confusion Thinking about all the problems and pollution That cloud this world and my head--is there a solution? I wonder what will it be like for my son? He's so little his life has only just begun. I think he deserves this world and then some after all he's my miracle one. Will there be air to breathe? Water to drink? Will he be programmed & told what to think? Hopefully not but I'm not sure The way things are going I don't think we'll find a cure Until it's too late and this world has already bought & sold it's fate. So let me give a shout out to all the problems that arise It's no suprise anymore to hear rumors of war Or that another person is no more Or to turn on the t.v. and see another naked ass Or watch another failing student told he's gonna pass Then theres AIDS, Poverty, and Cancer Leaving millions of people with no hope and no answer All we can do is love, love, love and never hate And then look to the universe for our fate... Don't do things without forethought, only to regret them in hindsight For regrets are futile resist them with might Listen to the world outside and you will find Voices loudly chanting what has been on your mind "What you sew is what you receive If you can't find karma it will find thee" Remember to always be a higher mind--always kynd, never wanting to rewind Don't relive the past best to grasp every moment that we have for what it is--the now, the wow, knowing somehow we are one Through our journey our message of love has only just begun Sew that seed in everyone, let it grow in the sun, nourish it, watch it become the love we see, the love we be, the love between you and me, A love so right so true, so old so new--remember i love love love you An unknown destination reached through spiritual emancipation Places and spaces of higher consciousness reached through long walks inside of us Like a lighthouse on the shore, I'll shine my light for all to see, but steering away from the rocks is your own responsibility, learn that only you can set yourself free Then you must learn to be a conduit, a mirror, a flame--in other words an instrument of reflection that will blaze Making darkness light, turning what is wrong into something right Knowing that the power to heal is real, and finding the source of sacred energy that you feel The guide to that source is surrounding you each day--It's love Love from above, Love from below, Love really fast, Love really slow, Love sitting down, Love on the go, Love unconditional, Love you don't know, Love so blind, Love so kind, Love so freeing it'll ease your mind Awaken the dormant love inside of you, and give it to everyone you see, to help guide them as they venture in their own journey to be free...Autumn wind brings the song Mother sings, A cosmic telephone it rings…is it a missed call? a bad connection? or is it crystal clear, and you hear, the conversation in conscious creation that's playing on every station, tune in 98.6º positive vibration… Energy is matter and matter is energy—don't you see? Don't you hear, E=mc2, or are you impaired? You start to feel the sensation—thoughts become things, it's manifestation… Now there's some grins, the positive thought wins, understanding what we think is what we attract, it is that exact. Why choose to be down? Why choose to be sad? Why choose to feel the good as bad? Life is creative pulse… It will go up and down, flow in and out, it will be silent it will shout, watch it rise watch it fall, feel the freedom hit a wall, beaten down then standing tall… It is how it's supposed to be...much like the rhythm of the sea, or the sweet & stingy bumble bee, or the knots in the tree, or the boundlessness within the boundary, or the spanda in we… The phases of the moon, the butterfly emerging from the cacoon, the tadpole now a frog, the lotus in the bog, the clumsy cygnet becoming the graceful swan, the grasshopper moves only forward-one hop and she's gone, the tiny beetle moving the sun, the mantis praying—we are all one.
