Mike Rosado is a session drummer performing regionally for several acts. His mainstays are two amazing bands, Triple Fret and Kennebec. "I try to play in a variety of different styles to keep my musical appetite satisfied. I also perform gigs here and there for The Music Maker Relief Foundation, which is a great Non-Profit org. that helps legendary blues musicians stay active and in the scene while keeping the blues traditon alive. I'm hoping to continue to grow as a musician and see where it takes me, and try to enjoy every step I take along the way."Musicians/bands Mike has performed with: Mike Babyak, Triple Fret, Hank Smith, Waylandsphere, Stomp, Vamp and Roll, Fuz, Cool John Ferguson, Scott Sawyer, Howling Dog Theory, Bongo John, Sudden Blue, Aluta, Lois Deloatch, Fibonacci, Paul Bomar, Steve Kimock, Ben Palmer, Rob Watson, Kennebec, Ghezzi, Paul Atkinson.QUOTES:-"Raleigh's Go-To Guy"-MODERN DRUMMER (World's Premiere Drum Magazine)-"Need a drummer for your roots or pop project? Check out Mike Rosado: good time/feel, sensitive to the vibe of a song...always dependable, professional and musical." -- SCOTT SAWYER (guitarist, www.scottsawyer.net)-"Now that's a drummer with good pocket!"-GEORGE PORTER JR, Legendary Bass Player (The Meters, James Brown,and...)-"Mike Rosado plays the drums with passion."- TROY SMITH, Critically-Acclaimed songwriter-"Mike Rosado is a pro and he does his homework. He showed up, set up, warmed up, and we laid down three usable drum takes in an hour. We had time for another, but there was no need. It was all there."-JEFF WHATLEY / recording artist"Working with Mike is always a pleasure and a privilege. He has incredible focus, creativity, vision and dedication to his art. Rosado isn't just a great drummer, he is truly a great musician."-GHEZZI, Singer. Songwriter. Recording Artist.-"Solid player, tastyful drummer, and great guy!"- SOL CREECH, session musician/band leader (The Sol Creech Band, Cool John Ferguson, Pura Fe, Tim Smith Band and....)-"Mike Rosado just gets it. He truly understands and feels the song that he is playing. He's not only laying it down, he's an integral part of the songwriting process that is occurring at the given moment. And to top it all off, he's a great guy who is professional and alot of fun to be around."-PAUL ATKINSON, Singer/songwriter-"Mike's great chops are obvious from the first listen, but if you really sit down and spend some time digging in to what he's up to, you realize he's not just driving the band rhythmically, he's also using his kit to sing his own melodies and harmonies in and around the tune. Needless to say, that's a rare and hugely important thing to be part of."- MIKE BABYAK, seasoned guitar and lapsteel player (Mike Babyak's Triple Fret, Steve Kimock, Jim Kost)-"Rosado's got the goods....the roots, the ears, the smarts, and the chops. He's one of the guys that makes the rest of us work harder....!" -KENNY SOULE, studio/session drummer (Nantucket, Dag, Go There, Mary Mcbride)
