As it was, no one seemed to notice when the world stopped spinning. The powers of persuasion looked to pollute our evolution only to create a place where time could stand still. In this place we are all bought and sold. Here we see ourselves only through others. This place is dead, ideas are our ghosts. Those that burn brightest fight hard, as their blind idols poison all that we hear, we live in the air ~ the Murder Revolution
The year 2002 marks the beginning of what we now know as The Murder Revolution. The band started by Gary Kane and Don C. playing together for almost 3yrs in a band in Cleveland and wanting to do something new, something they both could put all their heart into and not have to fight for their ideas to be heard or recognized. Gary being a drummer practically his whole life decided to step away from the drums and become the voice of their new project. After writing with some friends in the studio and trying to get the band formed, they found a bass player, guitarist and drummer to complete the band that at the time seemed to click. Within 2 years The Murder Revolution became a reality, stepping out of the darkness finishing their first 3 song demo and playing show after show trying to reach as many new ears as possible and opening for some amazing national acts. 250 demos where made and went at 3$ a piece in as little as 2 months. The band was making a name for itself.
In 2004 Gary left the band after feeling uninspired by the friction and the lack of integrity the newer band members brought to the table. Almost a year had passed with everyone going their own ways. Months later Gary and Don got things rolling again and began to write at a very slow pace, starting completely over from scratch which brings us to the present. 2007 has been the most promising year for The Murder Revolution. The band converted into a 4 piece with Max Monter on bass and Doug Nickoson on drums. "They have given us new blood in our veins, they are on the same page as us and they are artists not to mention 2 of the best fucking friends around"-Gary. Writing all new material, the band is recording at Spider Studios with Producer Tony Gammalo(Chimaira, It Dies Today, Misery Signals) and is bringing in the New Year with a brand new demo and a new life.
