Hey I've been doing recording and mixing etc.... for over five years now and I'm always finding better ways to get the best sound for the best price.
I have the most experience working with bands who have a cohesive alive feeling to them as opposed to fake bands who need studio albums that have the life produced right out of it.
I love good production and understand that the alive feeling of the music has to come first!
Recently I have been bringing bands into some really nice studios Joey's place, Big scary tree, QLA, etc.. that use analogue tape and amazing sounding live rooms to capture the initial energy of the performance and then we overdub everything else in pro tools on either my laptop or your home studio or where ever we can for the best price. The results are pretty amazing!
We get the amazingly huge thick sound that you would think you could only get by dropping a small fortune!

Over two full years in the making, these are very epic and moving landscapes that were oringinally written for film. Guitars are gently fingerpicked at times and then at times layered to resemble monstrous orchestral strings over thick bass grooves and thunderous huge drums resembling zeppelin or floyd .
