Television:
I usually only get Closed-circuit TV here in my arctic base. But when the Satellite receiver decides to work I watch:The Shield (Best show ever!), The Venture Brothers, Heroes, House, The Riches, Dirty Jobs and not much else. Some how I got suckered into watching my second "reality" show "Project Runway" with the fashion designers. This has done nothing for M's street cred. The only other reality show I ever paid notice to was "Bands on the Run" a few years ago on VH1. Why haven't they brought that one back? They always cancel things I like. Or, in the case of the Simpsons, write them directly into the shitty, shitty ground. Shows that are awesome but no longer on: Arrested Development (Best show ever #2!!), Six Feet Under, Northern Exposure, Due South.Lately I've gotten sucked into LOST, which is nothing more than a maddening series of cliff-hangers. But I keep coming back for more... NOt anymore. Fuck that show. It SUCKS. I quit you, Lost. Eat cold shit.
Books:
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Nothing in this Book is True but it's Exactly the way Things are, Slaughterhouse Five, Grendel by John Garnder, To Kill a Mockingbird, and I'm a Harry Potter NERD. Currently I reading "World Domination Through Dirty Real Estate Deals" by Donald Trump. I also read piles of comics on a regular basis. I dig on the "Fables", "Y the Last Man" and "100 Bullets" from Vertgo/DC. I hate most of that formulaic bullshit that passes for mainstream comics. I do love what Mark Millar has done with "the Ultimates", and I'll read just about anything by Warren Ellis, Grant Morrison, and the fucking MASTER, Allan Moore.
