Icarus Down

Icarus Down are an alternative, eclectic indie (of cosmological and astrological proportions) rock four piece from the North East. They've gigged around the North East of England and were selected for the final 30 of the 3 Mobile National Student Music Awards 2006. They supported Dogs at Edinburgh's Heriot Watt University and came 4th in the webvote with over 4,500 plays of their tracks and video.The band really appreciate the support of so many friends from all over through messages via myspace. They are taking time out. Michael is back in Newcastle from Cambridge teaching music, Luke is in Leeds, Adam in sunny Sunderland and Fran in Paris.Thanks to you all for making the gig at The Cumberland Arms in Byker a night to remember.Fran is busy writing more in Paris so keep listening out.
