About Me

I don't like this part of it, I mean talking about yourself. It feels wierd. What can I say, oh yeah thats it. I play music for a living. I don't sign on and Im not on the sick or have a day time job, nor am I at college, I just sing and play my guitar with my young mate `Chris Leonard' aka `Suger Ray Lenny the Lion, Sex of guitar'. If we don't have any gigs in we go busking on Northumberland St, Newcastle. Luckily we get plenty of gigs. In fact we are booked every Friday @ `THE MOORCOCK' thats the first pub you come to as you enter Peterlee. We also play @ a rocking little bar in STOCKTON called TRADER JACK'S every Friday night, thats a late one, we start at 11pm and finish at 2am. We Shair a lot of our gigs with the ledgiond that is Marc Oliver. (Blackbird State, A Woman of no Importance, Indoor Firewerks) For any one who has had there heads bury'd in the sand Marc Oliver is one of the most talented song writers this reagion has ever seen but more than that he is also known as the human juke box playing loads of clasic covers every Friday and Saturday night's with us. If you come to one of our gigs you can expect to hear a lot of our own stuff but sometimes we have to play for hours so we like to do covers by : The Kooks, The Fratellis, Oasis, Travis, The Water Boys, The Levellers, Morrissey, The Beatles, The Kinks, Bob Dylan, The Verve, Mike Scott plus thousands more. I like to play live and Im not that bothered about recording in a studio it's a bit boring. I was once signed to a record company but they got there arses sued by Elton John (it's a long story) and went bust. (Cheers Elton). Im not botherd about kissing record company's arses because Ive got my own. That means you get 100% of the profits. I consider my self lucky to be able to do this and I am well grateful to the people who come along to my gigs and support us. This is the best job in the world. What more can I say. Lets just say `take it easy peep's and love one another. Mick.
