Bitter Spirits

Beer guzzling, Hard Rock 'n' Roll has returned.

About Me

(We've changed our name to the Bitter Spirits)The Bitter Spirits are four guys who live in Staten Island, New York. We formed over five years ago and have been creating our own music since. Joe,Mark, and Rich meet while attending Monsignor Farrell High School. We were model students that epitomized the modern catholic ethic. That was until of course we discovered sex, drugs, and rock n' roll. Joe meet Adnan through there mutual love of metal music. Bitter Spirits didn't form at this time because of the great divide in our emerging musical styles. Mark and Rich were into punk whereas Joe and Adnan were into metal. It would be years before we agreed upon what we wanted to do and say with our music. We weren't even sure we could be a band at first. But we all got together anyway and wrote a song called In the Valley and the rest is history. Our basic philosophy is, "No style of music is off limits as-long as it has been derived from true inspiration." The music and lyrics are reflections of our collective values and beliefs formed though the conversations we've had on many different topics. From war to relationships, good verses evil etc. As bitter spirits we try to express ourselves without pretense allowing us to just play kick ass rock n roll.

Someone Else is now BITTER SPIRITS
