Scarlet City

Better Late Than Never

About Me

Scarlet City formed in the Winter of 2004, when rockers Jimmy Jay (guitar) and Robbi Roxx (bass) decided to form a band that would re-invent rock ’n’ roll for a new generation, sending the slumbering rock scene a much needed kick in the teeth. Donnie J, of Six Weeks Alive, was recruited to fill the vacant guitar spot, with his former bandmate Paul Yarrow reclaiming the microphone. Alex Dow (Insulin) was brought in and became the band’s drummer. In December 2005 Scarlet City recorded their first demo with Frankie Torpey of Days in December. After a number of gigs in and around the London area, the band inked a management/production deal with Mensah Productions. They are currently in the process of writing and recording new material, and are continuing to organise gigs and build their following in the London region.Scarlet City finished a new demo in January 2008, which is available to listen on this page. Keep an eye open for details of gigs in your area!I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace)
