Once were Warriors is probably one of my all time favourites. It's a Kiwi made and acted film, and I have never been so affected by a movie; it is a devestatingly powerful film that moves me every time I see it.Belleveu Rendezvous: a quirky, French animated film that is absolute genius.The Gods must be crazy, 1 and 2: two funny little South African movies that are really sweet, fun and can put a smile onto anyones face. Another all time favourite is Jean de Florette and Manon des sources...OK they are 2 films, but they need to be watched, back to back, to get the complete story.

The Use of Pliers in Warfare by Sir Roderick Purdeigh. Dangerous Mammals, Reptiles, Amphibians, Birds, Fish, Jellyfish, Insects, Spiders, Crustaceans, Grasses, Trees, Mosses, and Lichens of Terror Incognita, Volume 29c, Part 3; author unknown. Anything by Terry Pratchett or Douglas Adams, again...and again...and again! I love Carl Hiasen and Elmore Leonard and will read almost anything on any subject. I am not happy if I don't have a book on the go.
