Bushguru is a combination and fusion of many over the years but was founded by Gary Redding as a means to allow others to also get a live jam!! Before that it was called The Undecided and in those times we lived off playing live, chete! Many have come and flowed through the experience and all who have were not there for any glory but the moment.
My name is Gary and I do not care for the false world of the music business, nature is my master and has been my solace, companion and teacher throughout my life. I was inspired in many ways to defend this through Bushguru as the life I was living then was fast being attacked by political nonsense created to yet again divide and rule. It was disrupting not only my life within Nature but millions of others too. I have stroked pythons and leopards who let me, swam with otters, have been visited by owls in my worst ever moment in life, they gave me faith again to see truth win against all odds and visited me for two weeks every day, lived solely off the food I planted, watered by hand from the river I lived next too, been struck by lightning twice, jailed for false accusations twice and have had many life changing experiences that have moulded me into what I am today, a student of life. Basically I became connected to the real World we live on and cannot ever again deny its existence above the superficial empire I now have to try and survive in. Some call it developed but to me it is a mockery of our real purpose. I have learnt things yet I cannot explain how I have learnt them but know divine intelligence that provides knowledge is not just in the schools or universities. It comes when you seek it and is there in abundance. Music to me is real when it is resonating between all who are there in that moment, it is more a channel for giving and receiving to the divine. I relate it more to connecting away from the physical into spiritual realms so never really saw the point in recording until others took me to the studio. I could never afford it yet now I have a mutli media studio and have over twenty songs recorded, over the next year, '08/9 I will release new tracks and complete the work of my life in the world of music. I plan then to go back to my roots and just keep it live as this is for me the whole point. All I wish is that someone out there is inspired to KEEP IT REAL! One Love
