About Me

I am a wife, mother and grandmother of a beautiful little baby girl named Scarlett. I've been a nurse for 25 years and have worked at the local hospital for nineteen of those years.
I live in the foothills, about 45 minutes from Lake Tahoe. We have a small home on 5 acres out in the country. My family is the most important part of my life: my loving husband, my very special daughter & son-in-law, a precious baby granddaughter and a wonderful son. I consider myself a spiritual, as well as an opinionated woman. However, I do keep an open mind. Speaking of minds, I have bipolar disorder. I was diagnosed in 1999 and have learned to take care of myself. I manage quite well and lead a normal life--for me--LOL. I love animals. We have 2 dogs, 3 cats and 4 fish. I love art, theatre, reading and collecting. (possibly why we're always broke and the house is always cluttered.) I love everything Mixed Marital Arts! I watch local fights ringside, whenever I can afford it and everything MMA on TV. I try to follow my favorite fighters and support them. I'm happily married, but sometimes a shameful flirt on myspace. I have a brand new "empty nest" and am feeling quite sorry for myself. I love to write. I have a generous heart and a bad temper.
